PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display input device for a vehicle capable of reducing driver distraction.SOLUTION: A display input device for a vehicle includes: a function for displaying information related to a vehicle in a display region 30; and a function for receiving an input to operate an operation menu. The display input device for a vehicle includes: a gesture detector 74 and an input conversion part for detecting a gesture with the finger F of a driver; and a visual line detector 72 and a visual line conversion part for determining whether or not the visual line of the driver is directed to the inside of a visual line detection area 50. The gesture when the visual line is not directed to the inside of the visual line detection area is defined as a selecting operation to select any of a plurality of selection items in, for example, an operation menu, and the gesture when the visual line is directed to the inside of the visual line detection area 50 is defined as a changing operation to change the content of the selected selection item. |
