PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid nutritive composition for preventing backflow of a gastric content from stomach to esophagus after administration by tube feeding or the like; and to provide a composition mixable uniformly with gastric juice in the presence of a liquid nutrition.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid nutritive composition containing metaphosphoric acid or a salt thereof, and (1) xanthan gum and/or (2) alginic acid or a salt thereof, and mixable uniformly with gastric juice or artificial gastric juice. |
