PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain greening by a specific plant while inhibiting growth of other plants.SOLUTION: The greening construction method comprises: a weed-proof soil layer forming step for forming a weed-proof soil layer having a predetermined thickness on a surface to be constructed by using a weed-proof soil with which plants hardly grow as compared to soil under the surface to be constructed; a through-hole forming step for forming a through-hole to the formed weed-proof soil layer; and a pot inserting step for closing the formed through-hole by inserting a pot seedling at least the surface soil of which is covered with weed-proof soil. In the weed-proof soil layer forming step, a weed-proof soil layer is formed by making soil in which a lime component is mixed and pH is adjusted to 7-12 as the weed-proof soil, and in the pot inserting step, a pot seedling in which a seedling of a plant capable of growing in soil at pH 7-12 is planted, is inserted to the through-hole. |
