PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web inspection device and web inspection method capable of accurately inspecting various kinds of webs by optionally adjusting the angle of an imaging unit with respect to a web such as a film near a roll.SOLUTION: The web inspection device includes: a roll 10 on which a band-like web W is wound; an imaging unit (for example, camera 30) for imaging the web W near the roll 10; a support unit (for example, trestle 32 or camera support arm) for supporting the imaging unit; and a drive unit (for example, drive motor) for driving the support unit so that the imaging unit moves around the roll 10. |
