The present invention relates to a heat insulating composition for an LPG tank, and a composite heat insulating layer construction method using the same. An objective of the present invention is to provide a heat insulating composition for an LPG tank and a composite heat insulating layer construction method using the same which copes with contraction and expansion of the LPF by having heat insulated, incombustible, and flexible properties at the same time by sequentially layering a first heat insulating layer having a heat insulating property; a second heat insulating layer having incombustible and heat insulating properties; and a third heat insulating layer having flexible, fire retardant, and heat insulating properties on an outer surface of the LPG tank. According to the present invention, the heating composition comprises: a composite heat insulating layer consisting of a first heat insulating layer having a heat insulating property on an outer surface of the LPG tank; a second heat insulating layer having heat insulating and incombustible properties; and a third heat insulating layer having flexibility, being fire retardant, and having heat insulating properties. The heat insulating layers comprises: a polyurethane heat insulating material; an incombustible heat insulating material wherein an inorganic fire retardant binder comprises 70-80 wt% of a mixed compound, 1-2 wt% of an inorganic phosphorus-based fire retardant compound, 18-28 wt% of water, and 0.5-2.0 wt% of an inorganic filler and vermiculite micropowder mixed with a weight ratio of 1.2-1.5:1; and a flexible heat insulating material wherein an elastic heat insulating material comprises 55-68 wt% of a fire retardant resin, 6-7 wt% of an organic binder, and 25-38 wt% of water and the vermiculite micropowder mixed with a weight ratio of 1-1.2:1. |
