PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device in which liquid adhered to a side face of a liquid ejection head can be removed without moving a cleaning member.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes an ink jet head 3, and a wiper 25 for wiping off ink adhered to an ink ejection surface of the ink jet head 3. The wiper 25 wipes the ink ejection surface by relatively moving with respect to the ink jet head 3. The printer 1 further includes a cleaning part 32 made of an ink absorbable material. The cleaning part 32 is disposed at an end position of a moving range in a scanning direction, of the ink jet head 3 and contacts a side face of the ink jet head 3 according to movement of the ink jet head 3 in the scanning direction. By using the cleaning part 32, ink adhered to the side face of the ink jet head 3 is removed caused by wiping of the wiper 25. |
