PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for camera improving follow-up performance of a first drive member for front blade and a second drive member for front blade and capable of accurately controlling stroboscopic light emission timing.SOLUTION: A leaf spring 8 is attached to a second drive member 3 for front blade, and a top end part of the leaf spring 8 is detachably disposed to a pin 2d of the first drive member 2 for front blade, and the pin 2d is provided with a brake plate 17 that is in contact with the pin 2d, and a rotary motion of a second drive member 3 for front blade is allowed to be transmitted to the first drive member 2 for front blade via the leaf spring 8. The pin 2d presses the brake plate 17 and brakes the first drive member 2 for front blade before the rotation from a setting position of the first drive member 2 for front blade is completed. Stroboscope contact pieces 16a, 16b are arranged adjacent to the first drive member 2 for front blade so that the stroboscope contact pieces 16a, 16b are closed to each other. |
