PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing data compression method, a swing data compression device, a swing analysis device, and a swing data compression program capable of reducing an amount of stored swing data while keeping swing analysis accuracy.SOLUTION: A swing data compression device includes: a storage section 502 for storing swing data output from an inertial sensor 40 mounted on an object 100 to be detected; an analysis section 310 for analyzing a swing of the object to be detected using the swing data stored in the storage section; and a compression section 320 for compressing the swing data according to a compression rate set based on the swing analysis result.
