PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light emitting device including a plurality of light emitting elements of different luminous colors to each other, in which each light emitting element is improved in luminous efficiency and which can be manufactured efficiently; and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 100 of the present invention includes: anodes 3R, 3G, 3B; a cathode 10; positive hole transport layers 5R, 5G, 5B provided between the anodes 3R, 3G, 3B and the cathode 10; a light emitting function layers 6R, 6G provided between the positive hole transport layers 5R, 5G and the cathode 10 so as to contact with the positive hole transport layers 5R, 5G; a hole transport layer 7 provided between the positive hole transport layer 5B and the cathode 10 so as to contact with the positive hole transport layer 5B, and provided between the cathode 10 and the light emitting function layers 6R, 6G so as to contact with the light emitting function layers 6R, 6G; and a light emitting function layer 6B provided between the hole transport layer 7 and the cathode 10 so as to contact with the hole transport layer 7. The hole transport layer 7 has a thickness of 2 mm or less. |
