PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve normal function of a device, a system or the like that uses a refrigerant used for cooling an abnormally overheated battery cell even after the battery cell is cooled.SOLUTION: Thermo valves 40a to 40e which are adjusted so as to open between about 150°C and 200°C are attached between each battery cell of a cooler 34 of a cooling system 30 which is disposed so as to make contact with a plurality of battery cells 22a to 22f via an insulation heat transmission member 26. If one of the battery cells 22a to 22f is abnormally overheated, the thermo valve attached near the overheated battery cell opens to supply a refrigerant in the cooler 34 to the abnormally overheated battery cell side, thereby the abnormally overheated cell is promptly cooled. When the battery cell is cooled, the thermo valve closes. Thus, though the flow rate of the refrigerant decreases, the cooling system 30 can function normally. |
