PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an engine with a turbocharger, achieving improvement in acceleration response by reducing turbo lag.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine 2 with a turbocharger is provided which includes a bypass passage 42 bypassing a compressor 18, and a bypass valve 43 for opening and closing the passage 42. The control device further includes a pressure sensor 34 disposed downstream of the compressor 18 on an intake passage 11, and bypass valve control means 55 for opening and closing the bypass valve 43. The bypass valve control means 55 opens the bypass valve 43 when a pressure of the intake passage 11 detected by the pressure sensor 34 is lower than a threshold value for determining supercharging pressure, and closes the bypass valve 43 when the pressure of the intake passage 11 detected by the pressure sensor 34 is higher than the threshold value for determining supercharging pressure. |
