PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating carriage conveyor which eliminates the need of a return space for an empty carriage without forming a pit on a floor of a factory.SOLUTION: A reciprocating carriage conveyor 10 comprises a plurality of carriages 1 (11, 12) and driving devices 3, 4 for moving the carriages along a track 2. The reciprocating carriage conveyor 10 allows a loaded carriage 11 loaded with a workpiece W to travel along the track 2, and returns an empty carriage 12 of which the workpiece is taken out along the same track 2. The empty carriages 12 return in a continuous state to each other, and the loaded carriage 11 travel above the empty carriages 12 returning continuously. |
