PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage method of a bale, a bale storage apparatus, a bale package manufacturing method, and a bale package manufacturing apparatus in which a bale package can be efficiently stored in a bale transportation container without dropping the bale package from a vacuum cap regardless of the surface shape of the bale.SOLUTION: A bale storage method comprises: a step (A) of packaging a film 22 with a bale and obtaining a bale package; a step (B) of forming one or more slits in the film of the bale package obtained in the step (A); a step (C) of compressing the bale package obtained in the step (B); and a step (D) of lifting the bale package obtained in the step (C) by vacuum suction and storing the bale package in a transportation container.
