PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonating body, a wind-bell using the resonating body, and a method for calculating the vibration frequency of a resonating body.SOLUTION: A resonating body 1 has a cylindrical member including a bottom surface part 1a, an upper surface part 1b, and a side surface part 1c. The vibration with a node at the outer edge of the bottom surface part 1a is set to be a fundamental frequency, and the vibration with a node at the outer edge of the upper surface part 1b is set to be the first overtone frequency, which is higher than the fundamental frequency. The vibration of the bottom surface part 1a is preferably 4-0 mode and the vibration of the upper surface part 1b is preferably 4-0 mode. The wind-bell may be formed to include the resonating body 1. With the resonating body 1, there can be provided the resonating body with simple configuration and low cost capable of generating the same range of sound as that of bell-ringing crickets. |
