PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allows operation from DC to very wide bandwidth with a hardware configuration using readily available off-the-shelf components.SOLUTION: A harmonic mixer 1300 comprises: a power splitter 1302 configured to split an input signal into a first path 1306 and a second path 1308; a power coupler 1330 configured to couple signals from these paths. The first path 1306 is a frequency conversion path and, e.g., down-converts frequencies in the range from 25 GHz to 50 GHz of the input signal. The second path 1308 is a through path without frequency conversion. Further, another frequency conversion path for down-converting frequencies in the range from 50 GHz to 75 GHz of the input signal may be provided to couple signals from the three paths with the power coupler 1330. |
