PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing unit for printing high resolution images in one single pass.SOLUTION: A printing unit 1 may include a first print head 50, a second print head 52, a UV pinning light source 54 between the first print head 50 and the second print head 52, and a UV curing light source 56 on an outer side of one or the other of the first print head 50 and the second print head 54. A printing apparatus of the type that uses liquid ink for printing on the surfaces of printed circuit boards is also provided.
