PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face plate processing method that realizes highly-efficient production of a face plate through a consistent manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A face plate processing method relating to the invention includes steps of: applying first punch processing to an aluminum plate 1, and forming both multiple face plate members 11 protruding from one surface of the aluminum plate 1 and multiple positioning holes 12 passing through the aluminum plate 1; applying turning processing to a surface of the respective face plate members 11 of the aluminum plate 1; applying anode processing and coloring processing to the surface of the aluminum plate 1 and then forming an anodically-processed plating layer 2; printing ink 3 on the anodically-processed plating layer 2 of the respective face plate members 11 of the aluminum plate 1 and then forming a character, a pattern or a code; and applying second punch processing to the respective face plate members 11 of the aluminum plate 1, completely separating the face plate members 11 from the aluminum plate 1 and then forming a face plate. |
