PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension coil spring capable of restricting breakage loss caused by wear and scratch at an end coil.SOLUTION: An end coil part 12a of a coil spring 12 comprises a first segment 12aalways contacted with a spring seat irrespective of a load applied to the coil spring 12, a second segment 12acontacted with the spring seat when a load applied to the coil spring 12 is high and removed from the spring seat when the load is low and a third segment 12aalways spaced apart from the spring seat irrespective of any load. An insulator sheet 50 made of material with rubber resiliency is fixed through adhesion to the lower surface of an element wire 40 of the end coil part 12a. The insulator sheet 50 is arranged at the lower surface of a region including at least the second segment 12a. |
