PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method and an inkjet image formation device suppressing deterioration of roughness and glossiness of images and providing images excellent in image strength in various paper kind.SOLUTION: There is provided an image formation method including a process of adding a treatment liquid containing an acidic compound, an organic solvent and water to a recording media having a coat layer containing calcium carbonate, a process of adding an ink composition containing a polymer particle, a color material and water to the recording media, a process of adjusting concentrations of the acidic compound in the treatment liquid for any each recording media selected from plural kind of recording media before adding the treatment liquid in the treatment adding process. Formula I, A×10+6≤B≤A×10+26, where A represents calcium relative intensity of the recording media when calcium Kα ray intensity of i-best W measured by a fluorescent X-ray spectroscopy is set at 1 and B represents concentration in mass basis of the acidic compound in the treatment liquid to the total mass of the treatment liquid. |
