PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable iron ore blending that increases the effect of improving granulation properties due to a binder.SOLUTION: In a method for granulation of a sintering raw material, a compound containing a lignin sulfonic acid is added to a sintering raw material, which contains iron ore having an α, represented by the following formula (1), of 10 or more in a ratio of 10 mass% or more based on the total mass of a new sintering raw material, in a range of 0.01-1.5 mass% in terms of solid content based on the total mass of the sintering raw material to granulate the sintering raw material in a granulation step of producing sintered ore, which is a raw material charged into a blast furnace. α=the ratio of a powder of 0.25 mm or less (mass%)/water of crystallization (mass%) (1) |
