PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, etc., for manufacturing a glass sheet, capable of preventing glass wastes generated when a scribe line is formed on the sheet glass molded by a down draw method from being stuck to the sheet glass.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a glass plate by a down draw method comprises: a molding step of molding molten glass into a sheet glass using a molding; a slow cooling step of slowly cooling the sheet glass while conveying it downward; a scribing step of forming a scribe line in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the sheet glass on the surface of the sheet glass; an air flow generation step of generating an air flow in the conveying direction of the sheet glass to send glass wastes generated in the scribing step downward by the air flow; and a removal step of removing the glass wastes sent downward. |
