PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of waste water containing heavy solid matter where sludge can be adjusted in a concentration range of the heavy solid matter suitable for transportation through piping and to provide a waste water treatment facility suitable for the treating method.SOLUTION: In a treating method of waste water including: a step performing the solid-liquid separation of the waste water containing heavy solid matter using a settling tank; a step taking out sludge containing the heavy solid matter settled at the lower part of the settling tank; and a step transferring the sludge to a disposal site, the sludge in the case of having a constant concentration or higher is transferred to the disposal site and the sludge in the case of having less than the constant concentration is returned to the settling tank when the heavy solid matter concentration of the sludge being taken out is measured. The constant concentration is preferably 300,000 mg/L or more and 600,000 mg/L or less when the heavy solid matter is a metal or a metal oxide particle. |
