PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container having novel and excellent eye-catching effects, where color patterns of a cosmetic surface visible through a lid body are changed with opening/closing operations of the lid body.SOLUTION: The cosmetic container includes: a container body 10 in which a cosmetic 20 is stored in a cosmetic recess part 13; and a lid body 11 that covers the upper surface of the cosmetic 20, with a gap spaced from the upper surface of the cosmetic 20. The lid body 11 is fitted so as to rotationally turn about one point laterally relative to the upper surface of the container body 10. Specific patterns are provided on the upper surface of the cosmetic 21 stored in the container body 10 and, further, the lid body 11 includes specific transparent areas 21. Consequently, in a state where the lid body is rotationally turn laterally in a stepwise fashion from the upper surface of the container body 10, patterns of the container body 10 visible through the transparent areas 21 of the lid body look as if being regularly changed. |
