PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser welding equipment that can suppress effects of relative positions of members which are junction objects or individual differences when welding with laser beams to perform more suitable welding, a laser welding method, and a battery case to be welded by the laser welding equipment.SOLUTION: The inside surface of an opening part of a case 310 having a junction object part irradiated with laser beams and the outer peripheral surface of a lid 320 has a slide movement part that is so arranged that the opposite junction object part may form a groove part 330 and makes the groove width of the groove part 330 changeable by the slide movement of mutual slopes. Laser welding equipment comprises a detector 270 to detect the groove width of the groove part 330, a pressurizer 510 and a transmission part 520 that give force to adjust the groove width of the groove part 330 to at least one of the case 310 and the lid 320 via the slide movement part, and a controller 500 that controls the force given by the pressurizer 510 and the transmission part 520 in accordance with the groove width detected by the detector 270.
