PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner including a light source part that emits a laser beam, a deflection body that reflects the emitted laser beam to be deflection-scanned in the main scanning direction, an imaging lens 45 that forms the deflection-scanned laser beam into an image on a scanning target surface, a housing 43 that accommodates the deflection body and imaging lens 45, and a lens holding member 100 having a correction mechanism 150 that corrects deflection in the sub-scanning direction of the imaging lens 45, and to improve the accuracy of determining the position of the imaging lens 45 relative to the housing 43 with an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An imaging lens 45 has a first contact part 45c formed on one face 45a in the sub-scanning direction to directly contact a housing 43, and a second contact part 45d formed on one face 45b in the optical axis direction to directly contact the housing 43. The imaging lens 45 has the first and second contact parts 45c and 45d directly in contact with the housing 43 so as to determine the position in the sub-scanning direction and optical axis direction relative to the housing 43. |
