PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly identify the feature of each row in the tabular data outputted to an object that includes a table area.SOLUTION: Tabular data outputted to a table area is acquired from the data of an object that includes the table area. Then an attribute pattern indicating the presence or absence of real data in a cell of each column and the feature of a row is identified for each row of the tabular data. When a row having a cell that does not include real data is identified, determination is made, on the basis of the attribute pattern of the identified row and the attribute pattern of a row immediately preceding the identified row, as to whether data display is omitted in the cell that does not include real data. As a result, if it is found that data display is omitted in the cell that does not include real data, corresponding data is acquired from the immediately preceding row, and the cell that does not include real data in the identified row is complemented by the corresponding data. Then, while the identified row is complemented by the corresponding data, the attribute pattern of the identified row is re-identified. |
