PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system and an image display method that can simply use a touch panel function when an external device gets connected to a display device.SOLUTION: When image data is input into a display device 10 from an external device 30 and a touch panel 12 detects a contact position, a communication unit 15 transmits the image data and contact position data to a control device 20. When a communication unit 21 of the control device 20 receives the image data and the contact position data from the display device 10, an image processing unit 22b applies image processing based on the contact position data to the received image data. When an image transmission unit 23 transmits the image-processed image data to the display device 10, an image receiving unit 16 of the display device 10 receives the image data. A control unit 18 has a display unit 11 display an image based on the image data received by the image receiving unit 16. |
