PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can enhance an effect of peeping prevention by easily making a polar viewing cut-off angle of a viewing angle limitation sheet small, and to provide various apparatuses, in addition to an information input device with the display device.SOLUTION: A pattern sheet 40 of a light shielding property is provided on a front side of a light source 10, and has a plurality of prescribed-shape light aperture parts 42 formed. A viewing angle limitation sheet 60 is provided on a front side of the pattern sheet 40, in which a transmission area 62 and a non-transmission area 64 are repeatedly formed at a prescribed pitch, and the viewing angle limitation sheet 60 limits a viewing angle of light L passing through the transmission area 62 to the angle equal to or less than a prescribed polar viewing cut-off angle &phgr;. An optical path length formation unit 50 is provided between the pattern sheet 40 and the viewing angle limitation sheet 60, and an optical path length P is provided between the light aperture parts 42 of the pattern sheet 40 and the transmission area 62 of the viewing angle limitation sheet 60, which in turn limits a viewing angle &thetas; of a display device 100 to the angle smaller than the polar viewing cut-off angle &phgr;. |
