PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon-containing composition having excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: The silicon-containing composition comprises both of: a high molecular weight compound (1) obtained by hydrolytic condensation of a silane compound represented by SiX(1-1), RSiX(1-2), RSiX(1-3), RRSiX(1-4) and RSiX(1-5); and hydroxy acid or polycarboxylic acid (2). Preferably, as the (2) component, used is phthalic acid, salicylic acid, fumaric acid, malonic acid, citric acid or tartaric acid. The specific content of formulae (1-1)-(1-5) are as described in the specifications. |
