PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser scanning type projector that can suppress reduction in utilization efficiency of light to be projected on a screen, and can make adjustments of an optical system taking an influence of an entire optical system into consideration.SOLUTION: A laser scanning type projector 1 comprises: three LDs 21 that are housed inside a body housing 2 to emit a light beam; a horizontal scanning mirror 26 and a vertical scanning mirror 27 that cause the light emitted by the LDs 21 to be displaced; an encapsulation window 3 that fits into an aperture 2a provided in the body housing 2, and is to guide the light caused to be displaced by the horizontal scanning mirror 26 and the horizontal scanning mirror 27 outside the body housing 2; a light detection member 7 that detects light reflected upon an inner side surface of the encapsulation window 3; and an optical system adjustment unit 6d that adjusts an optical system 20 on the basis of the light detected by the light detection member 7. |
