PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation device that suppresses lateral vibration by maintaining a seismic isolation object in a horizontal manner without inclining it, performs stable vertical motion, and thereby performs seismic isolation.SOLUTION: In a seismic isolation device 100, a plurality of seismic isolation mechanisms 40 having a plurality of diamond-shaped four-node link mechanisms and a plurality of dampers 50 are arranged in a rectangle substructure 10 and superstructure 20, and the superstructure 20 rises while kept in parallel with the substructure 10. The superstructure 20 is kept horizontally by the function of the seismic mechanism 40, and vibration is damped by the function of the damper 50. |
