PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an ACG (AC Generation) starter motor with a small inductance value of a three-phase coil.SOLUTION: A control section 30 repeats a first state and a second state. In the first state, one or two phases of first switching elements 101-103 of a driver 100 are switched to an electrified state in such a manner that a voltage of a battery 141 is applied to a three-phase coil of a power generation starter motor 70 in series, and second switching elements 104-106 for one or two phases corresponding to phases of the first switching elements in a non-electrified state are switched to an electrified state. In the second state, magnetic energy stored in the three-phase coil in the first state is stored in an SC 140 via a diode that is provided in parallel with the first and second switching elements 101-106. Electric charge stored in the SC 140 at a higher voltage than the voltage of the battery 141 is utilized for start control of an engine E. |
