METHOD FOR THERMAL PROCESSING OF ARTICLES CONSISTING OF ALLOYS ON THE BASIS OF IRON (VARIANTS)

The invention relates metallurgy and in particular to the field of thermal processing of articles consisting of alloys on the basis of iron with a carbon content of up to 4.3% by mass. The claimed methods are aimed at reducing the duration of technological processes, used for producing articles consisting of alloys on the basis of iron with a set structural state. Said result is achieved by that the first variant of the method of thermal processing of articles consisting of alloys on the basis of iron with a carbon content of up to 4.3% by mass comprises heating the articles so as to form austenite and then cooling, which is performed under conditions which ensure the formation, in the structure of the alloy, of regions of austenite with a chemical composition similar to eutectoid with the subsequent formation in said regions of marinite and a set structural state so as to produce perlite with a different degree of dispersion and/or hardened structures. Said result is achieved by that the second variant of the method of thermal processing of articles consisting of alloys on the basis of iron with a carbon content of up to 4.3% by mass comprises heating and then cooling the article, which are performed under conditions which ensure the formation of a set structural state, heating being performed under conditions which ensure the formation of marinate, and the set structural state is formed so as to produce therein perlite with a different degree of dispersion and/or hardened structures. When implementing the methods, pulsed cooling, plastic deformation and the action of a magnetic field are used.
