A fluidizing valve which is used in apparatus for processing powder and powder related products. The fluidizing valve (10) includes a valve body (16) having a fluid inlet (11) and a fluid outlet (12) and a passage interconnecting said inlet and outlet, and a valve member operable between first and second positions to open and close said fluid outlet; characterized in that the valve interacts with an adjustment means to permit incremental opening from a first substantially closed position to a second fully open position.
