Disclosed are an apparatus for recommending a location inside a building using a fingerprint of an access point and a method using the same. A fingerprint for an access point is collected from terminals of a plurality of users to obtain a location of the access point. The fingerprint and a payment history of the users are used to obtain locations of stores inside a building. A meta map generated by integrating the location of the access point and the locations of the stores with an indoor floor plan of the building is used to recommend a location to a target user using a meta route as a reference. Information acquired from the terminals of the users is used to obtain the location of the access point to allow for indoor positioning to lessen a burden of constructing an infrastructure for the access point inside the building in advance. Additionally, a location can be recommended using latest information since a change of the location of the access point by failure or replacement of the access point or newly opening stores in the building can be easily updated. |
