Aqueous composition comprising 0.01-5 wt.% of an alkyl-modified silicon which comprises at least one pendant alkyl group having a hydrocarbyl chain length of C6 or greater extending from at least one of the silicon atoms forming the polymer backbone, wherein the alkyl-modified silicone is characterised by a general formula (I)where m is 1-450, n is 1-3000 and R is a monovalent alkyl radical of from 8 to 60 carbon atoms, the composition additionally comprises from 0.1 to 20 wt.% of a further silicone component comprising: (i) from 50 to 95% by weight of the further silicone component, a second silicone which has a viscosity of at least 100,000 mm/sec at 25°C, and (ii) from 5 to 50% by weight of the further silicone component, an amino-functionalised silicone. |
