Control method for determining cure status of glass fiber products

A method of determining the cure status of a mineral fiber product such as glass fibre insulation is disclosed. The method involves visually inspecting the mineral fiber product to identify representative samples of undercured or overcured regions. The samples are then quantitatively assessed to determine the cure status of the binder which can then be used to adjust or modify the production process where the quantitatively assessment is based on a measure of pH.
