Provided are a banner advertisement method and an apparatus for the same wherein a user, who sees a banner advertisement, can actively search for information, the user wants, from information provided by an advertiser. The banner advertisement method according to the present invention includes the steps of: transmitting data, which includes a query input region and constitutes a banner for the advertisement, to a user terminal; receiving a query, input into the query input region displayed in the user terminal, from the user terminal; determining a landing page matched with the input query; and transmitting data for displaying the matched landing page to the user terminal. |
