The device (1) has input terminals connected to a power supply (2), and output terminals connected to a load (3). An inductor or capacitor (71) in series with an automatic switching interruptor (80) i.e. autonomous static or electronic interruptor, is provided on a branch connecting the output terminals placed in parallel to the load and the power supply. Closing of the interruptor is triggerred when potential difference between electrodes of the switch exceeds a preset voltage threshold or when current traveling the electrodes exceeds a preset intensity threshold.
