Disclosed herein is the compound (S)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-((1S,2S)-2-(((S)-2-methylpyrrolidin-1-yl)methyl)cyclopropyl)phenyl)pyrrolidin-2-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester, or amide thereof. Also disclosed is the use of (S)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-((1S,2S)-2-(((S)-2-methylpyrrolidin-1-yl)methyl)cyclopropyl)phenyl)pyrrolidin-2-one in the manufacture of a medicament for treating a disease such as attention-deficit hyperactivity, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, a condition or disorder affecting schizophrenia, cognitive deficits of schizophrenia, a condition or disorder affecting narcolepsy, sleep disorders, allergic rhinitis, asthma, or obesity. Also disclosed is the use of pharmaceutical compositions comprising (S)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-((1S,2S)-2-(((S)-2-methylpyrrolidin-1-yl)methyl)cyclopropyl)phenyl)pyrrolidin-2-one or a crystalline polymorph of the compound 2-{ 4-[(1S,2S)-2-((S)-2-methyl-pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)-cyclopropyl]-phenyl} -2H-pyridazin-3-one, in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of conditions modulated by histamine-3 (H3) receptor as described above.
