PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system that can more greatly facilitate temperature control of a hydrodesulfurizer and reduce temperature increasing time and temperature unevenness of the hydrodesulfurizer as compared with a prior art.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system 100 has a hydrodesulfurizer 3 for removing sulfur compounds in raw material gas, a raw material gas heater 2 for heating the raw material gas before the raw material gas flows into the hydrodesulfurizer 3, a reformer 5 for generating reformed gas with the raw material passing through the hydrodesulfurizer 3, a fuel battery 7 for generating power with the reformed gas from the reformer 5 as fuel, a combustion chamber 8 for combusting unused fuel in the fuel battery 7, an exhaust gas passage 9 through which exhaust gas generated in the combustion chamber 8 flows, and a container 10 which is provided to a part of the exhaust gas passage 9 and in which the raw material gas heater 2 and the hydrodesulfurizer 3 are accommodated. The exhaust gas flowing through the container 10 is heat-exchanged with the raw material gas heater 2 and the hydrodesulfurizer 3. |
