<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack which houses a contact piece with excellent durability.SOLUTION: A jack 20 comprises: a jack body 30 having a plug insertion hole 35; and a plurality of contact pieces 41-1 to 41-3 which are fitted to the jack body 30 so as to make electrical contact with a conductive part of a plug body 10. Each of the contact pieces 41-1 to 41-3 is located at the end of a wire and comprises: a first fixing part fixed to a wall surface of the plug insertion hole 35; a second fixing part fixed to the wall surface of the plug insertion hole 35 at predetermined distance from the first fixing part; and a bent part formed between the first fixing part and the second fixing part. The bent part protrudes from the wall surface of the plug insertion hole 35. Due to contact pressure from the conductive part of the plug body 10, the bent part is elastically deformed by a torsional moment with the first fixing part and the second fixing part as the center of rotation.</p> |
