<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tennis shoe for perfectly preventing sand from intruding into the tennis shoe during tennis play to avoid labor everyone has experienced in removing sand having intruded into a shoe when taking off the shoe after finishing tennis play, where sand leaping up from the toe side and the heel side intrudes into the shoe and sand adhering to the sides and the center part does not leap up because the sand hits against the bottom face of the shoe and drops on the ground.SOLUTION: A tennis shoe includes: grooves whose depth and width are about 1.5 cm and 2.0 cm toward the inside respectively, and which are located on the toe side and at a side edge part on the heel side on the bottom (face in contact with the ground) of the shoe so as to interpose a width of about 1 cm between the grooves and the edge of the shoe; and convex walls whose width and thickness are about 1 cm and 3 mm respectively, and which are located at side edge parts on the toe side and the heel side respectively.</p> |
