The present invention relates to a trailing truck having a traction motor which uses a direct driving method and has a housing structure made of carbon fibers. The trailing truck includes: a stator fixed to the trailing truck; a rotor which includes a permanent magnet and is coupled to an axle; a frame surrounding the stator and the rotor; and the housing which is coupled to both ends of the frame and is made of carbon fibers in order to reduce the weight, reduce the initiatives, enhance the response properties, smooth a flux path structure, and enhance the heat emission performance. The trailing truck provides best conditions for a coupling form of a ventilation structure of the rotor and the axle. Such stable coupling form structure between the rotor structure and the housing and the reduced weight can be critical to accident prevention and cooling properties of the traction motor. The housing of the traction motor is made of carbon fibers to reduce the overall weight of the traction motor and increase the response speed.
