Provided is a jackhammering operation machine with which shortened life of the shaft member or supporting member can be minimized. This jackhammering operation machine is provided with: a hammering mechanism for hammering a tip tool; a motor case (11) housing the hammering mechanism; a shaft member (55) attached to the motor case (11) and arranged with the axis line (F1) thereof intersecting the direction of operation of the hammering mechanism; a supporting member (53) provided to the motor case (11), for rotatably supporting the shaft member (55); a handle that is linked to the shaft member (55), and that is rotatable with respect to the motor case (11) about the shaft member (55) as its fulcrum; and a damping member (62) provided to the motor case (11), for damping the rotational force of the shaft member (55), the machine being further provided with: a shaft hole (54) provided to the support member (53), the shaft member (55) being arranged in the shaft hole (54); and an elastic member (68) that contacts the shaft member (55) at a location closer to the axis line (F1) from the inside surface of the shaft hole (54), and that restricts movement of the shaft member (55) in a diametrical direction. |
