A method and system for exchanging personal information about electronic cigarettes. The method comprises: S1, detecting, by a current electronic cigarette, whether there is another electronic cigarette having the same electronic cigarette type within a preset range; and if so, turning to S2; S2, sending, by the current electronic cigarette, request information to the cigarette having the same electronic cigarette type about requesting the exchange of personal information; S3, prompting and judging, by an electronic cigarette that has received the request information, whether a first trigger signal is received within a preset time, and if so, then sending confirmation information; and S4, exchanging, by the current electronic cigarette, personal information with the cigarette that has sent the confirmation information. The method does not blindly request any electronic cigarettes to exchange information, but selects the cigarettes of the same type and exchanges information under the condition of the agreement of the opposite side, which improves the user experience of making friends by using the electronic cigarettes and enables electronic cigarette users to select other users as their friends in a targeted manner to facilitate the selection of suitable electronic cigarettes and to facilitate smoking cessation. |
