Disclosed are a storage device, a storage system, and a method for operating a storage system. The method for operating a storage system according to an embodiment of the present invention is a method for operating the storage system having multiple unit storages including one or more flash memory chips and includes the steps of: monitoring performance of a first unit storage of the multiple unit storages; determining that the first unit storage is in a first state with respect to performance if the monitored performance of the first unit storage is greater than a reference value; and processing a first request among requests in different types with respect to the first unit storage in a second storage if the first unit storage is determined to be in the first state. |
