摘要 Disclosed is a chamber for measuring behavior and respiratory physiological activity of microorganisms. The chamber for measuring the behavior and respiratory physiological activity of microorganisms according to the present invention, provided to measure and observe the behavior and respiratory physiological activity of microorganisms, comprises: a microorganism storing member which has an accommodation space, which is opened upwardly and has an inlet for receiving circulating water thereinto and an outlet for discharging circulating water therefrom, and in which a floor member of a transparent material is coupled to a lower portion of the accommodation space to be sealed; an upper cover of a transparent material, which is coupled to an upper portion of the microorganism storing member to be sealed so as to block the accommodation space from the air; first and second valve units which are installed respectively at the inlet and the outlet to control circulating water, flowing into and circulating through the accommodation space of the microorganism storing member, and are connected to a circulating loop of a device for measuring respiratory physiological activity; and a lighting unit which blocks the diffusion of external light introduced into the accommodation space, and emits light toward the floor member to identify microorganisms for experiments. According to the present invention, as the floor member of the microorganisms storing member and an upper cover therefor are formed to be transparent, and a lighting unit with a white optical diffusion plate is arranged on the bottom surface of the floor member, microorganisms can be easily identified, thereby smoothly performing camera tracking for microorganisms. In addition, the accommodation space is sealed by the floor member and the upper cover, thus oxygen from the air can be prevented from entering the accommodation space. Moreover, microorganisms are easily injected in and out of the chamber and water is smoothly circulated, thus the behavior and respiratory physiological activity of microorganisms can be measured simultaneously for a long period of time.
