Disclosed is an organic light-emitting device, which comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode facing the first electrode; a light emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a positive hole transfer area including an auxiliary layer interposed between the first electrode and the light emitting layer, wherein the auxiliary layer contains a carbazole-based compound represented as chemical formula 1.
