摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient and stable hydrogen production by controlling the temperature of a dehydrogenation reaction in a proper range when using exhaust gas of power generation as a heat source of the dehydrogenation reaction.SOLUTION: A hydrogen production system 1 comprises: a dehydrogenation reactor 51 that generates hydrogen from organic hydrides by a dehydrogenation reaction in the presence of a catalyst; a first power generation unit 2 that generates power based on the energy of combustion gas; an exhaust heat recovery unit 3 that recovers heat of exhaust gas of the first power generation unit 2; a heat exchanger 21 that performs heat exchange between the exhaust gas and a heat medium in the exhaust heat recovery unit 3; and a circulation line L1-L3 that introduces the heat medium in a liquid state, heated by the heat exchanger 21, into the dehydrogenation reactor 51 and circulates the heat medium between the dehydrogenation reactor 51 and the heat exchanger 21. The introduction temperature of the heat medium in the dehydrogenation reactor 51 is in a range from 352°C to 392°C. The discharge temperature of the heat medium is in a range from 337°C to 367°C. The difference between the introduction temperature and the discharge temperature is in a range from 10°C to 50°C.
